The Youth Emergency Services And Shelter Of Iowa
Des Moines Plastic Surgery™ has been dedicated to helping the community in several ways over the years. More recently, we have made a special connection with YESS. YESS is the Youth Emergency Services and Shelter of Iowa. This private, non-profit organization provides emergency shelter, respite, crisis care, and counseling for children from birth through 17 years of age.
From 2012 to 2016 Des Moines Plastic Surgery™ has supported YESS in the Annual Duck Derby held in May, at Jordan Creek Mall in West Des Moines. It is an exciting event and always a great turnout! We watch over 40,000 yellow rubber duckies race to the finish line! Dr. David Robbins, owner of Des Moines Plastic Surgery™ and board-certified plastic surgeon, is there to give away the $10,000 Grand Prize!
