Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) – Achieve Toned, Contoured Arms

Brachioplasty, also known as an Arm Lift, is a body contouring procedure that is performed to lift and tighten the upper arm when there is sagging skin. Many people struggle with the upper arm area, particularly as they get older and their skin looses elasticity (what keeps it tight and smooth), or after a significant weight loss. It can be frustrating when dealing with sagging, excess skin in any area of the body because no amount of diet or exercise can improve it. Through body contouring procedures like brachioplasty, however, the excess skin and tissue can be removed to create a smoother, more toned and youthful appearance.

Some patients may also struggle with stubborn fat in the upper arms and choose to combine their brachioplasty procedure with liposuction. The brachioplasty procedure is performed through an incision that runs between the elbow and the armpit–and it should be noted that this incision does leave behind a permanent scar that will fade over time but never go away completely.
